Jenia Howe, PT
Jenia Howe was born in Bohol, Philippines, and received her bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy at the University of Bohol, Philippines, in 2002. She worked at the University of Bohol Physical Therapy Rehabilitation Center treating orthopedic and neurologic cases.
Since 2015, she has worked as a physical therapist at the University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center (UM CRMC) outpatient department treating neurologic and orthopedic cases from pediatrics to geriatrics, with patients as young as 6 years old. She is a certified LSVT BIG Therapist. The LSVT BIG Program, a service provided at UM CRMC, is an intensive whole-body amplitude-based training protocol for people with Parkinson’s Disease.
Jenia enjoys volunteering — she used to provide physical therapy community services to the less fortunate people in the Philippines. She also loves to visit famous landmarks around the world.
Jenia is currently working at UM Charles Regional Medical Center and UM CRMC outpatient centers.
