Eleanor Wilkinson, DPT

Lead Physical Therapist

Buffy was born in La Plata Maryland at what was then Physician's Memorial Hospital.  She attended Archbishop Neale School and then St Mary’s Ryken. For College, she majored in business administration and economics at Western Maryland College.  Once realizing her real passion was not in the business world but physical therapy, she attended Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania where she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2002.  She has specialized in orthopedic Physical Therapy for most of her 15 year career.
She has two children, 6 and 8 and she enjoys watching movies, hiking, playing with her kids, listening to country music and going out to dinner.
If I could vacation anywhere in the world, it would be Alaska.  I have been before but it is so beautiful.  I can be hiking on a mountain and feel I am the only one around for miles and also that only so many people have ever walked there before me. I find the mountains to be so magical and place life into perspective.
My favorite movie is Star Trek (2009).  I think they did a great job matching the characters to the original series and were very creative in how they were able to recreate a past which altered the future.  It was also funny, clever and imaginative.  I like movies that are not too close to real life.
